The Buchbauer Group has launched an innovative pilot project in Hunding, Bavaria, utilizing the cutting-edge DC technology provided by Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR).

The project aims to power the consumer market's energy needs through a locally generated direct current (DC) network, integrating renewable energy sources and offering customers the convenience of charging electric vehicles using the store's photovoltaic system.

The implementation of MR's DC technology allows for efficient and low-loss charging of electric vehicles, reducing strain on the grid. By connecting generators, storage units, and consumers directly through a local DC grid, unnecessary conversion losses are avoided, enabling a more sustainable and cost-effective energy solution. The Buchbauer Group is already reaping the benefits of this innovative approach and plans to equip future store openings with MR's DC technology, signaling a significant step towards a greener energy future.
