In a significant move towards sustainable energy and workforce development, Dimension Renewable Energy, a prominent community solar developer, has successfully commissioned seven community solar facilities in New Jersey. Simultaneously, the company has announced a groundbreaking multi-year pledge to invest $5 million in U.S. "green-collar" workforce development, aiming to train 1,500 solar professionals.

Dimension has forged strategic partnerships with local non-profits, high schools, community colleges, and adult education centers to deliver comprehensive solar installation instruction. The program not only imparts hands-on basic solar construction skills but also provides participants with essential OSHA safety certification. In New Jersey alone, where Dimension has unveiled 14 MW of new community solar projects, over 50 individuals have already benefited from the company's training and education programs, gaining practical experience at Dimension's project sites.

The New Jersey projects, situated atop industrial warehouses owned by landlords like STAG Industrial, mark the beginning of an ambitious collaboration with Black Bear Energy, an onsite renewable energy technology service firm. STAG Industrial emphasized that these projects represent just the initial phase of a more extensive plan that the two companies are set to execute in the coming years.
