EMerge Alliance, a nonprofit association dedicated to advancing safe and sustainable energy solutions, has announced the appointment of Dusan Brhlik, CEO of Direct Energy Partners, as its new president. Brhlik, known for his exemplary leadership in the energy industry, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.

Brian Patterson, chair of EMerge Alliance's board, expressed confidence in Brhlik's abilities, highlighting his commitment to advancing sustainable DC microgrid energy solutions. Brhlik has demonstrated leadership within the Alliance, notably through his involvement in organizing RE+'s live microgrid demonstration, showcasing the potential of microgrid technologies for enhancing energy resilience and efficiency.

In his new role, Brhlik aims to drive innovation and foster strategic partnerships to accelerate the adoption of DC energy technologies and EMerge Alliance's standards. He will also oversee the promotion of the Alliance's first registry for original equipment manufacturers' products, facilitating the listing of companion data sheets and interoperability data models.

Commenting on his appointment, Brhlik expressed honor in leading EMerge Alliance on a mission to advance sustainable energy solutions. He emphasized the importance of driving the industry forward to meet the challenges of a new and expanding age of electricity.
