Eaton Expands Milton Facility, Doubling Assembly Capacity
Eaton Corporation has completed the expansion of its manufacturing facility in Milton, Ontario, doubling the site’s assembly capacity and adding advanced automated fabrication equipment.
The company said the investment is intended to increase domestic production of electrical products for the Canadian market. The upgraded facility now includes state-of-the-art automated fabrication systems designed to improve operational efficiency and manufacturing output.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening of the expanded site, attended by company representatives and industry stakeholders. Chris Fluit, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Eaton Corporation, stated that the expansion aligns with the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its manufacturing presence in Canada.
The Milton facility produces electrical equipment used in power distribution and energy management applications. Eaton indicated that the expansion supports growing demand for electrical infrastructure and reinforces its focus on manufacturing products for Canada within Canada.
