$356M Boost for Pennsylvania Wind Energy Projects

Exus Renewables North America has secured approximately $356m in construction financing for two wind projects in Cambria County, Pennsylvania — the Cambria Wind Farm and Highland North Wind Farm.

The financing, coordinated by KeyBanc Capital Markets, will support the repowering of both projects, which will have a combined capacity of 136.6MW. The Cambria project will provide 61.6MW of capacity, while Highland North will add 75MW.

Both wind farms will use turbines supplied by Vestas and are expected to begin commercial operations in 2026.

Andy Redinger, managing director and head of the utility, power and renewable energy group at KeyBanc Capital Markets, said the financing demonstrates confidence in the projects and the renewable energy sector.

“KeyBank has a long history in Pennsylvania, and we are proud to support projects that expand clean energy generation while creating economic opportunities across the Commonwealth,” Redinger said.

The projects will add to Exus Renewables North America’s existing wind portfolio in Pennsylvania, which includes more than 306.9MW of operational and developing capacity.
