Nordex Strengthens European Wind Position with Multi-Region 255 MW Order Intake
Nordex SE has secured new wind turbine orders totalling 255 MW across Southern Europe, Eastern Europe, and Türkiye, strengthening its onshore wind project pipeline ahead of planned installations between 2027 and 2028.
The combined contracts cover the supply, installation, and commissioning of 51 wind turbines, including models from the Delta and Delta4000 Series as well as the N163/5.X platform, selected according to site-specific wind conditions and grid requirements.
The Southern Europe and Türkiye contracts account for 155 MW, while an additional 100 MW order has been secured in Eastern Europe. Although customer names and project locations were not disclosed, both agreements include multi-year service and maintenance arrangements aimed at ensuring long-term turbine performance and operational availability.
The projects are scheduled for phased installation starting in spring 2027, with full commissioning expected by 2028.
According to the company, the orders reflect continued demand for high-capacity onshore wind turbines designed for regions with space constraints and evolving grid limitations. The combined portfolio further expands Nordex’s footprint in key European and adjacent markets.
Nordex SE stated that its global service network and manufacturing base across Europe, the Americas, and Asia support its ability to deliver large-scale wind energy projects efficiently and at scale.
The latest orders reinforce the company’s position in the international onshore wind sector, where long-term service agreements are increasingly central to project economics and operational stability.
