Oxford, UK - The new hub is expected on UK roads by 2040 and setting the pace for future urban decarbonization planning.

National Grid UK has announced that Europe's most powerful electric vehicle charging hub has opened in Oxford and it is connected directly to a high voltage transmission network via a four-mile underground cable.

According to National Grid UK, the new hub has the capacity to charge 400 vehicles, supporting the estimated 36 million EVs expected on UK roads by 2040 and setting the pace for future urban decarbonization planning.
