Galp pays 140 million euros ($143.1 million) to get full ownership of Titan Solar

Madrid, SPAIN - Galp expects to operate plants with 4 GW capacity by 2025 and 12 GW by 2030.


Reuters has announced that Portugal's Galp Energia paid a large sum of money to get full ownership of Titan Solar. They bought the stake for 140 million euros ($143.1 million) from Cobra, a unit that was recently sold to French group Vinci.

Titan Solar now operates solar parks with an installed capacity of 1.15 GW and is developing more projects with a potential capacity of 1.6 GW.

According to Reuters, Galp expects to operate plants with 4 GW capacity by 2025 and 12 GW by 2030.
