Greenvolt has sold 19 photovoltaic projects in Italy, totaling 153 MWp, to Nuveen Infrastructure for €18.7 million. These solar projects are set to reach the "Ready to Build" phase between 2024 and 2025 and are spread across multiple Italian regions. This sale is part of Greenvolt's strategy to develop projects up to the construction phase before selling them to institutional investors.

The transaction was structured with the support of Green Horse, enabling Greenvolt to advance its monetization strategy. At the end of Q1 2024, Greenvolt's project portfolio reached 8.6 GW, with many projects slated for sale. For 2024, the company plans to sell over 500 MWp of solar assets.

By adopting this selective sales approach, Greenvolt reduces financial risks while continuing to develop new projects across Europe. Beyond solar, Greenvolt is diversifying into Distributed Generation and battery storage solutions and is producing energy from residual biomass in Portugal and the UK.
