G&W Electric Expands Manufacturing Capacity in Romeoville

G&W Electric has expanded its North American manufacturing footprint with a new 291,305-square-foot facility in Romeoville, Illinois.

Located at 1135 Arbor Drive, the facility includes around 30,000 square feet of office space. Manufacturing operations for Viper® and Viper®-HV have moved to the new site.

The expansion adds production capacity while creating additional space for growth at G&W Electric’s existing facilities in Bolingbrook. The company is also planning to expand its 245 Bolingbrook facility to increase molding capacity.

“For more than 120 years, G&W Electric has grown alongside the electric power industry, and this expansion reflects our continued commitment to supporting customers as the grid evolves,” said John Mueller, chairman and owner of G&W Electric.

The Romeoville investment follows G&W Electric’s recent expansion of its sensor manufacturing facility in Ferrara, Italy.
