Midpoint and Gaia Solar Projects Go Fully Operational

Monarch Private Capital has announced the substantial completion of two solar and battery storage projects in Texas, developed by Sunraycer Renewables.

The Midpoint and Gaia projects together add approximately 310.89 MWdc of solar capacity and 250 MWh of battery energy storage to the ERCOT grid.

Located in Hill and Navarro counties, the Midpoint Solar Project comprises 127.05 MWdc of solar generation and a 50 MW/100 MWh battery system. The Gaia Solar Project adds 183.84 MWdc of solar capacity alongside a 75 MW/150 MWh battery system.

Both projects were placed in service in 2025 and reached stabilized full-scale operations during the first half of 2026.

The solar facilities are expected to generate approximately 585 GWh of electricity annually, equivalent to the electricity consumption of around 54,000 homes.

The integrated battery energy storage systems (BESS) are designed to store electricity and dispatch it when needed, adding flexibility to the Texas power system as electricity demand continues to grow.
