PAD RES Energises Two Polish Solar Farms

PAD RES, a joint venture between Kajima Partnerships and Griffin Capital Partners, has energised two solar farms in Poland with a combined capacity of 24MW, according to reNEWS.
The projects, located in Biesiekierz, Koszalin County, cover 28 hectares and were constructed by Nomad Electric. They form part of PAD RES’s 3GW renewable energy development pipeline in Poland.
“Bringing two additional solar farms online is in line with PAD RES Group’s strategy of consistently expanding its generation capacity,” said Wojciech Jasiński, head of construction at PAD RES.
Chris Gill, managing director of Kajima Partnerships, said the projects mark “an important milestone” for the company and Poland’s wider energy transition.
The two facilities will remain in the PAD RES portfolio as the company continues expanding its renewable generation capacity.
