Qualitas Energy Advances Two Solar Projects in Poland

Qualitas Energy has secured a $61 million (€53 million) financing package for a 117 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) portfolio in Poland, supporting the construction of two greenfield solar projects.

The portfolio includes solar assets located in Słoniawy in the Masovian Voivodeship and Końskie in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. The projects are owned by Qualitas Energy and are expected to become operational in 2027.

The financing was arranged by CaixaBank and Bank Millennium and has been structured on a non-recourse basis, including a term loan, ancillary facilities, and an interest rate swap.

The portfolio’s revenues are supported by Poland’s contracts for difference (CfD) scheme, providing long-term revenue visibility during the financing period.

Adrián Cabrejas, partner Germany and Poland at Qualitas Energy, said: “This financing supports Qualitas Energy’s strategy across the renewable-energy value chain, with a focus on investing in and developing high-quality wind and solar PV assets, among other technologies.”

Qualitas Energy currently manages a solar PV portfolio in Poland exceeding 600 MWp of operational and under-construction capacity, alongside a greenfield wind development pipeline exceeding 1.2 GW.
