Intellirent Expands Southwest Power Sector Support with Phoenix Service Center
Intellirent has announced the opening of a new Regional Service Center in Phoenix, Arizona, expanding its operational support capabilities across the Southwest power and utility markets.
The facility, scheduled to open February 23, 2026, is expected to provide regional access to electrical testing equipment, calibration services, and asset and fleet management solutions. The move comes as utilities, EPC contractors, and industrial operators across Arizona and neighboring states continue to invest in grid modernization, renewable integration, and large-scale infrastructure upgrades.
According to Neil McCaw, President and CEO of Intellirent, the expansion is intended to improve responsiveness and field-level support. By establishing local inventory and logistics capabilities, the company aims to reduce project downtime and streamline equipment access for time-sensitive commissioning, maintenance, and testing activities.
The Phoenix center will offer local pickup and drop-off options, as well as equipment calibration and asset tracking services designed to support compliance and operational reliability requirements within the power sector.
Industry observers note that regional service infrastructure plays a critical role in supporting outage schedules, substation upgrades, and transmission and distribution projects where rapid equipment availability is essential.
The Arizona expansion marks the latest step in Intellirent’s broader regional growth strategy focused on strengthening service delivery in key utility and industrial markets.
