Ismes, a member of the CESI Group, has secured a significant contract with Edison to manage the structural reinforcement of the Barcis Dam. This two-and-a-half-year project underscores Ismes' leadership in Italy regarding the structural safety assessment of major dams.

This new assignment extends the ongoing collaboration between Ismes and Edison, following their successful projects on the Tul and Sessera dams, and the current work on the Ceppo Morelli dam. The Barcis Dam is located in the Valcellina region, part of the UNESCO-recognized Friulian Dolomites Natural Park, known for its stunning alpine scenery and rich biodiversity.
