Shetland, Scotland, UK - An investigation is under way into the death of a 23-year-old man.

According to BBC News, a 23-year-old employee of BAM Nuttall died at the Viking Energy Wind Farm construction site in Shetland. The accident is being investigated.

A spokesperson for BAM Nuttall said: "We can confirm an incident at our Viking wind farm project site on Shetland has resulted in the tragic fatality of a colleague."

"An investigation is under way and we're working closely with our client and the relevant authorities."

Viking Energy Wind Farm substation project has just reached a significant milestone with two critical transformers having arrived at the site a few days ago.
