Middle East Energy 2026 Moved to September

6 Mar 2026
Middle East Energy 2026, one of the largest global exhibitions for the power sector, has been rescheduled to take place from 1–3 September 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

The event was originally planned for 7–9 April 2026, but organiser Informa Markets confirmed the new dates in an official statement. The updated schedule has also been reflected on the event’s official website.

The 2026 edition marks the 50th anniversary of the exhibition, which is expected to attract nearly 50,000 attendees from around 178 countries. The event serves as a platform for companies across the power and energy value chain to showcase technologies, connect with suppliers and develop partnerships.

According to the organisers, moving the exhibition to September will provide additional flexibility for international participants to arrange travel and logistics, while also allowing more time for companies to prepare product and technology demonstrations.

While no formal reason for the change has been provided, the timing shift comes amid ongoing regional tensions in the Middle East.

Mark Ring, Group Director – Energy & Power at Informa Markets, said the adjustment aims to ensure the event delivers maximum value for exhibitors and visitors.

“This event has always been about bringing the global energy and power community together to share ideas, showcase innovation and drive progress,” said Ring. “By hosting the 2026 edition in September, we are ensuring that exhibitors and attendees have the opportunity to make the most of this important event.”

Middle East Energy covers the full power value chain, including power generation, transmission and distribution, renewable energy, energy storage, digitalisation and critical power technologies.
