In a recent press release, MYTILINEOS Energy & Metals, along with Siemens Energy, announced their collaboration on the construction of a 560 MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power unit at the Adamów Power Plant in Poland. The project, under an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract, aims to enhance energy efficiency and security in Europe, with completion expected by Q2 2027. The consortium, comprising MYTILINEOS and Siemens Energy, has inked an EPC contract with ZE PAK's subsidiary for the development of the efficient power plant utilizing combined cycle technology. With a focus on sustainability, MYTILINEOS aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by at least 30% by 2030, aligning with global environmental goals.

Expected to engage Polish and international contracting companies, the project anticipates peak involvement of 700 workers and supervisors during construction.
