Adani has signed an agreement to supply Google with clean power from a solar-wind hybrid project in Gujarat. The hybrid plant, located in Khavda, is expected to begin commercial operations in the third quarter of 2025.
With its extensive experience in delivering large-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects, Adani is well-positioned to provide tailored renewable energy solutions to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers. The company aims to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint and meet their energy demands.
In this collaboration, Adani will contribute to Google's goal of achieving 24/7 carbon-free energy for its operations in India. This will support the growth of Google Cloud services in the region, advancing the company’s sustainability efforts.
Looking ahead, Adani plans to further expand its focus on merchant and C&I segments to aid in the decarbonisation of industries.
