American Electric Power (AEP) has announced the appointment of Bill Fehrman as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Fehrman, currently the President and CEO of Centuri Group, will bring his extensive leadership experience in the energy sector to AEP.
Fehrman has been with Centuri Group since 2017, overseeing significant growth and operational efficiency improvements. His tenure at Centuri included navigating complex regulatory environments and spearheading sustainability initiatives. Prior to joining Centuri, Fehrman held various executive roles at Berkshire Hathaway Energy, demonstrating a proven track record in strategic leadership and innovation.
