A new initiative, the Clean Energy Systems Partner Alliance (CESPA), has been launched to accelerate the UK’s clean energy manufacturing sector. The alliance brings together six industry leaders to create a unified solution for innovators and developers in the renewable energy field.
PP Control & Automation, Danfoss, Emerson, Glacier Energy, Phoenix Contact, and Voltserve have joined forces to offer a range of integrated services, covering electrical, civil and structural design, renewable energy software, automation, and power solutions. CESPA’s goal is to help build more efficient and reliable clean energy systems across the UK, with a focus on technologies such as hydrogen capture, Power-to-X, geothermal applications, and battery storage.
Richard Spears, Marketing Manager at PP Control & Automation, highlighted the potential of the UK’s renewable energy market, which is valued at $23 billion and expected to grow to $46 billion by 2034. “We want to ensure UK companies capture as much of this growth as possible,” Spears said. CESPA members will collaborate to speed up clean energy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and without faults.
The alliance has already launched its website, cespa.org.uk, and plans to participate in joint events, exhibitions, and thought leadership presentations in the coming months. CESPA is also focused on expanding its network, welcoming new partners and aiming to support the development of clean energy skills in the UK workforce.
