
Emeren Group Ltd (NYSE: SOL), a leading global developer of solar and energy storage solutions, has entered into a co-development agreement with Arpinge, a sustainable infrastructure investment company in Italy. Together, they aim to develop a 300 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) portfolio in Southern Italy, supporting Italy’s clean energy goals and grid stability.
The new partnership enhances Emeren’s presence in Italy’s energy storage market, building on its 1.37 GW portfolio already in the permitting pipeline. This collaboration, the fourth for Emeren with a key Italian investor, leverages the company's Development Service Agreement (DSA) model to accelerate project permitting and support Italy's transition to renewable energy.
