GE Vernova has taken a significant step toward supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC). The agreement, which was celebrated on stage with H.E. Bandar Bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, highlights the joint effort to explore opportunities for localizing grid products in the Kingdom.
The MoU outlines active discussions on which grid products can be manufactured locally to align with the Kingdom’s growing energy needs and to contribute to the transformation of Saudi Arabia’s energy sector. This collaboration further solidifies GE Vernova’s commitment to enhancing its supply chain and supporting the development of Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure.
