Hitachi Energy has signed an agreement with KK Wind Solutions, a global provider of electro-mechanical systems for renewables, to support a pioneering green hydrogen initiative in Europe. The collaboration will see Hitachi Energy supplying its RESIBLOC® dry-type transformers, designed to reduce and optimize the project's overall system footprint.
The project, currently unnamed, represents a significant step forward in green hydrogen infrastructure, aiming to support Europe's decarbonization goals through renewable-powered hydrogen production.
RESIBLOC® transformers are well-suited to demanding energy environments, offering resilience, safety, and a compact design that aligns with the spatial and operational requirements of hydrogen facilities.
This partnership brings together Hitachi Energy’s expertise in power systems and KK Wind Solutions’ specialization in renewable energy applications, signaling growing momentum behind hydrogen technologies as a clean energy solution.
Further details on the project timeline and location are expected to be released later this year.
