Liberty Energy Inc., Imperial Land Corporation, and Range Resources – Appalachia, LLC have announced a new strategic partnership to develop a state-of-the-art power generation facility in Robinson Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. The initiative, located within the Fort Cherry Development District, aims to provide reliable, scalable energy solutions for high-energy-use businesses, including data centers and industrial facilities.
The collaboration will leverage Marcellus natural gas, known for its lower emissions compared to other U.S. basins, to power the facility. The new plant will play a crucial role in attracting businesses seeking long-term energy solutions, contributing to regional economic growth and innovation.
According to Ron Gusek, President and CEO of Liberty Energy, this venture sets a new standard for energy deployment, combining low-emissions technology with scalable power generation. Brian Temple, President of Imperial Land Corporation, emphasized the importance of positioning the Fort Cherry Development District as a key location for industrial growth.
Alan Engberg, VP of Marketing & Midstream at Range Resources, highlighted the advantages of the site’s proximity to the company’s existing natural gas production. The facility is expected to further position the area as a hub for technology and manufacturing opportunities.
This collaboration underscores Pennsylvania's potential for fostering sustainable, long-term industrial development.
