
Schneider Electric announced the unanimous appointment of Olivier Blum as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. This decision by the Board of Directors aims to accelerate the execution of the company's strategic goals and propel its next phase of development.
Blum, who has been with Schneider Electric for over 30 years, has held various leadership roles, including Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer. Most recently, he led the company's largest business unit, Energy Management. As a member of the Executive Committee since 2014 and a director on the board of AVEVA for the past five years, Blum is recognized for his commitment to technology, innovation, and a people-centric approach to leadership.
The Board expressed gratitude to Peter Herweck, who served as CEO for the last 18 months, acknowledging his dedication to the organization during his tenure.
