Electrical Industries Company (EIC) has announced that its subsidiary, Saudi Power Transformers, has secured a significant contract worth $41 million from Saudi Arabian oil giant Aramco.
The contract involves the supply of transformers, reinforcing Saudi Power Transformers' position as a leading provider of electrical products and services in the Middle East region.
Under the agreement, Saudi Power Transformers will fulfill the supply requirements within a span of 20 months, as stated in EIC's filing to the Saudi bourse Tadawul. The contract is expected to have a positive impact on the company's financial results for the year 2025. With a history dating back to 1982 and operating under a licensing agreement with CG Power Systems Belgium, Saudi Power Transformers has been a major supplier of transformers and sub-stations to commercial, residential, and industrial sectors throughout the region.
