Hamburg-based renewables asset manager CEE Group and Goldbeck Solar have successfully completed and commissioned a large-scale photovoltaic plant in Germany. The Döllen solar park, located in the municipality of Gumtow in the Brandenburg region, has become fully operational after a year since the groundbreaking ceremony.
The inauguration ceremony of the Döllen solar park was attended by local representatives, community members, and stakeholders involved in the project's construction. Symbolically, the park was connected to the electricity grid by plugging in the "green plug." The project was financed by DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing, and Astronergy provided the solar modules for the plant.
The electricity generated by the solar park is being fed into the grid managed by E.DIS Netz, the regional electricity distribution system operator for Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. As part of the project, a transformer station was also constructed in Schönhagen in cooperation with E.DIS.
Detlef Schreiber, CEO of the CEE Group, expressed satisfaction with the timely completion of the Döllen solar park, emphasizing its significant contribution to Germany's energy transition. Despite challenges faced during this major undertaking, Schreiber commended the professionalism and dedication of all involved parties.
