US-based events power rental company CES Power has made a significant move into the European events market by acquiring Euro Touring Power (ETP), a prominent provider of power and air conditioning equipment for touring productions throughout Europe. The acquisition marks CES Power's first foray outside of North America, establishing a new hub in Ireland to serve the entire European market.
ETP, based in Dublin, specializes in renting transformers, cables, distribution boxes, and stage air conditioning equipment to large-scale shows, events, sports, and corporate productions across Europe. Under the terms of the deal, ETP's managing director, Vincent Campion, and the existing management team will continue to lead the company.
In conjunction with this expansion, CES Power has introduced a new division named CES Global, aimed at positioning the company as a global provider of mobile power, distribution, and temperature control services. This strategic move underscores CES Power's commitment to becoming a leader in the international mobile power solutions industry.
Greg Landa, CEO of CES Power, expressed enthusiasm about the company's European expansion, stating, "Expanding overseas has always been part of our business plan, and we are excited to gain a strong foothold in Europe with the addition of ETP, an experienced partner with a reputation for quality equipment and superior service. We expect to work closely with Vincent and his team to build our customer base and add exciting new products as we grow the CES brand in Europe."
Vincent Campion of ETP welcomed the partnership, highlighting the potential for growth and synergy, saying, "We look forward to leveraging CES Power’s deep resources and expertise in the US to support our continued growth."
The establishment of CES Global signifies a significant milestone for CES Power, with the company poised to deliver exceptional services to customers worldwide. Allied Industrial Partners, the majority owner of CES Power, expressed their support for the ETP acquisition, describing it as "an exciting leap forward in CES Power’s strategic expansion plan."
