Delta Star has announced a 7-year contract awarded by Hydro-Québec (HQ) supporting the world-renowned power utility in the provision of reliable electricity to Quebecers.
According to Delta Star, the awarded contract aligns with their mission to provide peace of mind through reliably connecting people in communities throughout North America to one of life’s most basic needs – electricity.
“It is an honor to be trusted by Hydro-Québec with the manufacturing of high-quality power transformers for the province of Québec,” said Alix Némorin, Delta Star North’s general manager. “This contract provides our manufacturing facility in Saint-Jean-Sur Richelieu with the opportunity to support the local economy in the region and in the province.”
Delta Star estimates the contract will provide HQ with 50 high-quality, medium-sized power transformers as the organization continues its focus on power generation, transmission, distribution, and innovation.
