Efacec announced today that the company has recently signed €25 million ($26,75 million) deal with Red Eléctrica, the Spanish system and transmission operator (TSO) of the Redeia group. The agreement aims to optimize the electrical network in Spain and the Balearic Islands, encompassing the supply of 12 power transformers.
According to the company, this partnership marks a continuation of the collaboration between Efacec and Red Eléctrica, with previous contracts established in 2021. Efacec has consistently proven to be one of Red Eléctrica's primary suppliers of power transformers, further cementing their role in modernizing the energy transmission network in Spain.
The project, described as "highly complex," adds to Efacec's portfolio of reference projects in the TSOs (Transmission System Operators) of Europe.
