
Electrohold Bulgaria, a subsidiary of Eurohold Bulgaria, has announced plans to invest over 2.5 million levs ($1.4 million/1.3 million euro) by the end of 2023 in the reconstruction and overhaul of the grid in Pernik's western region.
Electrodistribution Grid West, a subsidiary of Electrohold, will utilize 1.02 million levs of the total investment to develop electrical equipment for connecting new clients to the grid.
The investment will include upgrades to overhead low-voltage lines, work on electricity meter panels in four villages, and the construction of medium-voltage facilities, such as the purchase of new transformers and the replacement of 20 kV cables. Furthermore, the funds will be used for the restoration of an overhead power line and the replacement of equipment in substations in Pernik town. These upgrades align with Electrohold's long-term strategy to enhance the security of power supply in the Pernik region, aiming to provide improved and reliable electricity services to customers.
