HUNGARY – The transformer's design had to be passed the NOGA Independent system operator evaluation and had to be approved by the Israel Electric Company (IECo).
Ganz Transformers and Electric Rotating Machines Ltd. has announced that in middle of November, their transformer passed all the tests which were contolled by Mr. Balazs Sztari (Head of quality and test bay) at Ganz'z test bay.
According to Ganz Transformers, in 2021 they participated on a private solar power plant tender with their partner company Engis Ltd in Israel. After several discussion with the end-user, Ganz's solution was the chosen. The transformer power is 125MV (ONAN/ONAF cooling) and equipped with different high-end features like fire extuingisher, dissolved gas analysis, partial discharge bushing monitoring system and HV/MV surge arrester.
According to the company, the transformer's design had to be passed the NOGA Independent system operator evaluation and had to be approved by the Israel Electric Company (IECo). The transformer electrical design and its documentations were managed by Mr. Laszlo Angyal (Head of power transformer engineering) the project management was handled by Mr. Efim Plakidin (Project manager).
