JAPAN – GE’s Grid Solutions and Fujitsu announced an agreement to sell GE’s asset performance management solutions.
Designed specifically for grid electrical assets, GE’s asset performance management technology helps T&D operators and industrials develop an intelligent performance strategy for managing electrical substations and equipment, the manufacturer said in a press release.

Under the terms of the agreement, Fujitsu will sell GE’s asset performance management solutions in Japan to energy transmission and distribution operators, which should help support the digital transformation of Japan’s power industry, maintaining a safe and reliable energy infrastructure and the stable supply of electricity.
Today’s announcement is another step in GE’s partnership with Fujitsu, that complements GE’s Smallword GIS software, the first geographic information system launched in Japan, the company said in a press release.
