GERMANY – A Member of the German Bundestag visited the Regensburger facility of Starkstrom-Gerätebau GmbH.

Starkstrom-Gerätebau GmbH, Regensburg (SGB) is part of the SGB-SMIT Group and a global producer of transformers, including large and medium power, oil-distribution, and cast-resin transformers, compact-substations and special equipment.

The Regensburger location of  Starkstrom-Gerätebau GmbH recently hosted Peter Aumer, Member of the German Bundestag, Starkstrom-Gerätebau said in a media release.

A management team from the SGB-SMIT Group and the Regensburg location held a presentation about the company, followed by a guided tour in the plant. Aumer also had the opportunity to talk directly with the employees in the production.

“Today again I realized what Regensburg has to offer, especially in the economic sector.” said Peter Aumer. “The field of energy, and the energy turnaround in particular, is being very strongly developed from Regensburg, including by SGB. This is really great to see - especially the joy of the employees. I believe that Regensburg really has a lot to offer and a great company in SGB,” he concluded.
