ZURICH, SWITZERLAND - Hitachi’s new award-winning technology should help the offshore sector to improve efficiency

Hitachi Energy has announced that they have received the Nikkei award for excellence. The Excellent Products and Services Awards is a historic annual ceremony sponsored by Nikkei Inc. that is celebrating its 41st edition to honor outstanding new products and services. According to the Nikkei organization, The nominations are based on independently selected products and services for the judging committee to select the winning products and services from more than 150 candidates.

Hitachi’s new award-winning technology should help the offshore sector to reduce costs, improve safety and efficiency, and include transformers for subsea and floating applications, offshore high-voltage hybrid switchgear, and an offshore solution.

The award recognizes Hitachi Energy's new energy portfolio for reducing costs, increasing safety, and improving efficiency for the offshore segment. The portfolio will enable greater volumes of energy to be efficiently harvested and integrated into the world’s energy system, a key to achieving carbon neutrality in 2050.
