Hitachi Energy is showcasing its advanced transformer solutions at InnoTrans 2024 in Berlin, contributing to the future of sustainable rail mobility. The company is highlighting key products, including Scott-connected and V-connected transformers, designed to support rail infrastructure, particularly in complex systems like India's railway network.
During the event, Hitachi Energy used holographic displays, virtual reality experiences, and digital applications to present its portfolio, allowing attendees to explore its cutting-edge solutions. Among the highlights are the Transient Voltage Protection technology (TVP®) and the RESIBLOC® Rail onboard traction transformers, a system celebrating 50 years of innovation.
At the ceremony, Ilario Scian, Global Product Manager for Industrial and Specialty Transformers, emphasized the transformative role these solutions have had in projects like Indian Railways, where the transformers reduce CO2 emissions by up to 30% and improve commuter experiences by supporting faster and more efficient trains. These technologies aim to reduce environmental impact while increasing efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
Hitachi Energy’s participation at InnoTrans reaffirms its commitment to providing innovative solutions for the transportation industry, enabling the transition to cleaner, smarter, and faster rail systems.
