BOYACÁ, COLOMBIA – Colombian electricity transmission operator ISA commissioned the 230-kV substation project and associated transmission lines in San Antonio in the Department of Boyacá, connecting the project to the national grid.
The project included construction of the new San Antonio substation, expansion of the Sochagota substation, and 20 miles of 230 kV transmission line.
This is the second large transmission project that ISA put into operation this year, following the 230 kV Chinú-Montería-Urabá project that was commissioned in the departments of Córdoba and Antioquia in March.
