Jeco Energies, a specialist in energy solutions and industrial automation, has announced the acquisition of Trafohuis – LV Trading B.V., a Dutch company known for its transformer stations and medium-voltage solutions. The acquisition marks another step in Jeco’s expansion strategy within the Netherlands, following its earlier purchase of Applitech BV.
Founded over 12 years ago and based in Bergambacht, near Rotterdam, Trafohuis supplies over 250 transformer stations annually and generates €20 million in revenue. The company also manages and maintains more than 1,000 installations through its service subsidiary, IV Services.
According to Marco van Gink, CTO of Trafohuis, the acquisition will enhance their capacity and speed of delivery. “By joining forces, we are ready to play an even greater role in the energy transition,” he said.
Jan Van Nuffel, CEO of Jeco Energies, emphasized the value of the people behind the technology: “We are very pleased to welcome the expert team of Trafohuis to our group. Their expertise and dedication are of great value.”
The deal strengthens Jeco’s presence in the Dutch market, broadens its offering in transformer and switchgear stations, and reinforces its long-term commitment to sustainability and the energy transition.
