Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - The transformer should be used on an offshore platform in the North Sea to transport the energy from wind farms to the electricity grid on land.
CESI SpA has recently announced that in the respect of reaching the global decarbonization goals by 2050 KEMA Labs has performed short-circuit tests on a three-phase transformer.
The transformer should be used on an offshore platform in the North Sea to transport the energy from wind farms to the electricity grid on land, guaranteeing energy efficiency in the area.
According to CESI SpA, in 2020 and 2021, they also performed short-line fault tests on an object rated 800 kV – 50 kA – 50 Hz. The technology that was used for the tests is designed to be used for ratings from and above 420 kV short line fault testing, with the goal to help customers to avoid power outages.
