CROATIA – KONČAR Engineering for Plant Installation & Commissioning signed an agreement worth $9.1 million for the construction of a 110/20 kV substation for Rimac Campus.
The scope of the project also includes the relocation of the existing 110 kV power line Rakitje – Tumbri 3 and the construction of a new 110 kV cable connection line for Rimac Automobili, KONČAR said in a press release.
The agreement was signed by Rimac Automobili CEO Mate Rimac and KONČAR Engineering for Plant Installation & Commissioning Board Member Gordan Planinić.
KONČAR will deliver this project for the electricity supply at the new Rimac Campus R&D and production facility.
To provide the requirements of the 20 MW power and 110 kV voltage level, KONČAR will partner up with the independent Transmission System Operator in Croatia (HOPS).
The future substation, located in Sveta Nedelja, Zagreb County, will include a facility for the power plant and control and other equipment, while the power transformers and cable connections will be located on the substation plateau.
The project delivery date is 14 months starting from the possession of the site and issuance of a valid building permit.
