Jan Prins, managing director of GANZ Transformers and Electric Rotating Machines Ltd., will step down at the end of 2024. His responsibilities will be taken over by his co-managing director, Gergely Gál, who will now oversee all aspects of the company’s management. This leadership change comes after GANZ’s successful reorganization in 2020, which saw the company implement improvements in energy efficiency and production technology, positioning it for further growth.
Under the joint leadership of Prins and Gál since 2021, GANZ has significantly boosted its sales, achieving a turnover of €71.55 million in 2023, with nearly half of that coming from international orders. The company's transformers, motors, and generators are now used across Europe and the Middle East in energy and environmental sectors.
The company's management restructure is in line with its growth trajectory and commitment to innovation. Gergely Gál highlighted the importance of maintaining GANZ's tradition of combining quality and innovation, while Jan Prins expressed pride in his role during the company’s transformative years.
GANZ Transformers and Electric Rotating Machines Ltd. has been a prominent name in high-voltage electrical equipment manufacturing for over 145 years and remains a key player in both domestic and international markets.
