Leon White has been appointed General Manager of Hedrich North America, the newly established U.S. subsidiary of Hedrich GmbH, a global leader in vacuum casting and transformer drying machinery.
White brings over 30 years of experience in the utility sector, including expertise in utility infrastructure, automation, and renewable energy. His background includes leadership positions at Ameren, General Electric, Qualitrol, and H2scan. A Professional Engineer and Senior Member of the IEEE, White also holds a Master's in Business.
As General Manager, White will oversee the expansion of Hedrich’s presence in North America, with a focus on supporting customers in critical industries such as transformers, renewables, and automotive. "I am excited to lead this next phase of growth for Hedrich in North America," White said. "We aim to strengthen our customer relationships and enhance the service we provide to key industries."
