Negros Power will upgrade distribution transformers in Bacolod City, Philippines, on March 14 to enhance electricity reliability and prevent outages. The improvements are part of the company’s five-year modernization plan to strengthen the region’s power supply.
The upgrades will take place in Eroreco Subdivision, Brgy. Mandalagan, where a 37.5KVA transformer will be replaced with a 75KVA unit. In Florenceville, Brgy. Tangub, a 25KVA transformer will be upgraded to 50KVA, along with the installation of a new 40ft concrete pole. Ramylu Drive, Brgy. Tangub, will also see an upgrade from a 25KVA to a 50KVA transformer. In Phase 5, Brgy. Handumanan, a 15KVA transformer will be replaced with a 50KVA unit.
Temporary power interruptions will occur in these areas to facilitate the work. Negros Power acknowledges the inconvenience and appreciates the public’s cooperation as it works toward a more stable and efficient power grid for Bacolod.
