Netel’s subsidiary, Nett-Tjenester, has secured a contract worth SEK 50 million with Norwegian electricity provider Glitre Nett for the expansion of a transformer station in Spikkestad, southwest of Oslo. The project includes ground and construction work as well as high-voltage installations, with Netel handling both planning and execution.
Glitre Nett, which manages the electricity grid in Agder, Buskerud, and Hadeland, supplies power to approximately 320,000 customers in southern Norway. The investment in the Spikkestad transformer station is part of the company’s broader strategy to enhance capacity and modernize the grid, supporting electrification and the green transition.
“This is a significant new collaboration for us,” said Jeanette Reuterskiöld, CEO and Group President of Netel. “Glitre Nett is an important new customer, and the partnership also expands our presence in Norway. We are proud to contribute to the green transition alongside Glitre Nett.
