GERMANY - The transformers were brought to the track with a self-propelled vehicle within the harbour and reloaded into a 32-axle wagon.
Amprion GmbH has announced that the Oberzier substation has received two new phase shifters. They accompanied one of them on its journey from the manufacturer in Bad Honnef to the place of use.
According to Amprion GmbH, the phase shifters each consist of two transformers. Four transports are therefore necessary: the first two took place in spring, the last two now in autumn. The transformers were brought to the track with a self-propelled vehicle within the harbour and reloaded into a 32-axle wagon. By rail, they went to Krauthausen station and from there at night to the Oberzier substation.
