
Krzeczów, Poland – 3 April 2025 – R&S Group Holding AG (SIX: RSGN), a Swiss-based manufacturer of electrical components, has officially opened a new oil distribution transformer plant in Krzeczów, near Bochnia, Poland. Operating under the Rauscher & Stoecklin brand, the facility is part of the company’s strategic move to strengthen its presence in Northern and Eastern Europe.
The 10,000-square-metre greenfield plant aims to produce more than 1,000 transformer units in 2025. It will serve as a regional hub for target markets including the Baltics, Nordics, and Germany.
The new site incorporates advanced manufacturing technology and an environmentally conscious design, including rooftop solar panels, in line with the Group’s sustainability goals.
Markus Laesser, CEO of R&S Group, noted the plant was completed despite global supply chain challenges. Jaroslaw Struzik, Plant and Operations Manager, emphasized the importance of skilled personnel in the plant’s success. Heinz Kundert, Chairman of the Board, highlighted the facility as a key part of the Group’s growth strategy.
The facility reinforces R&S Group’s commitment to expanding its manufacturing footprint and improving supply capabilities across Europe.
The company will publish its Annual Report 2024 and Non-Financial Report 2024 on 15 April 2025.
