
RESA Power, LLC, a U.S.-based leader in power systems electrical testing and transformer services, has officially entered the Ontario market with the acquisition of Commercial Switchgear Ltd. and Commercial Switchgear Service Inc. (collectively known as CSL).
CSL, headquartered in Toronto, has been a trusted provider of low and medium voltage electrical power systems, engineering, and field services since 1978. This acquisition significantly enhances RESA Power's engineering expertise and service offerings in Eastern Canada, particularly in the Greater Toronto Area.
Mark Angus, Chief Growth Officer at RESA Power, highlighted the strategic importance of this acquisition, noting that it establishes a flagship location in Ontario. He also emphasized CSL's impressive 45-year history of delivering custom-engineered power systems of the highest quality.
Gifford Scott, co-owner and President of CSL, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, citing shared values of quality and customer service between the two companies. Luciano Paolucci, Executive Manager at CSL, added that joining RESA Power would significantly expand the service capabilities available to their customers.
