RESA Power, LLC, a leading provider of power systems electrical testing and transformer services, has announced the acquisition of Mountain States Transformer Service, Inc. (MSTS). Headquartered in Pocatello, Idaho, MSTS has been offering transformer service, maintenance, installation, and repair across the United States since 2003.
The acquisition of MSTS significantly strengthens RESA Power's transformer services capabilities, providing a foothold for expansion into the Pacific Northwest region and adding to its fleet of oil processing rigs. Mark Angus, RESA Power’s Chief Growth Officer, expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition, highlighting the benefits it brings to their customers in the western USA.
Kim Ueda, the owner of MSTS, echoed the sentiment, stating his excitement to join RESA Power and leverage their extensive portfolio of electrical testing services and power equipment solutions. The move is aimed at expanding the transformer services business both geographically and within RESA's customer base.
In line with RESA Power's commitment to employee recognition, all newly acquired employees are immediately eligible to participate in the Employee Ownership Plan (EOP), reinforcing a culture of shared ownership and teamwork across the organization. This unique benefit underscores RESA Power's dedication to employee satisfaction and long-term growth.
