SDMyers has announced several role changes among the firm’s leadership. The new assignments prepare the way as the company readies itself for significant national expansion.
Dale Bissonette, currently president at SDMyers, named Jon Bucciarelli as his successor. Bucciarelli joined SDMyers in 2018, leading the company’s operations and delivery of services.
Bucciarelli said that his focus as company president will be to keep SDMyers at the forefront of new technologies, and to develop and adopt the tools needed to remain leaders in the substation reliability space.
The announcement of Bucciarelli’s installment as president comes as the company prepares for expansion into the West Coast in 2021. SDMyers is launching an additional physical location there - the California Center of Excellence - this month, while simultaneously planning major renovations at the Ohio Center of Excellence in Tallmadge, Ohio.
Bissonette, who also leads Good Place Holdings, SDMyers’s not-for-profit holding company, said he will remain at SDMyers as CEO to assist Bucciarelli, but will mainly focus on the key aims of Good Place Holdings. “Our culture and business formula are key ingredients for our future success, which is built on our principles that have stood the test of time,” Bissonette said, “Pointing the way as we follow the Lord’s leading."
SDMyers also announced several other internal role changes for key staff; Jason Dennison will become Director of Diagnostic and Analytical Services; Jon Karas will step up to the role of Lab Manager; and Brittany Ruehs will become Diagnostics Manager.
